The 2018 Masters will commence on April 5th, in Augusta and is the first of four major golf championships.
This year, Tiger Woods returns to challenge world #1 Dustin Johnson, 2015 Master winner Jordan Spieth and current PGA champion Justin Thomas. Combined, the three men have won five majors and 37 PGA tour events. So, it’s easy to see why they currently hold the shortest odds of 10/1.
However, Woods has singlehandedly won 14 majors, four green jackets and 79 PGA Tour events! With such an illustrious career he has the fourth shortest odds of 12/1. While Johnson, Thomas and Spieth have the shortest odds now, last month they trailed Tiger Woods’ odds of 8/1.
2018 Masters and Tiger Woods Odds
21 years ago, Woods, as per his father’s declaration ‘changed the world’, when he won the Masters at just 21 years of age. Not only was he just 21 years old but he had won with just 12 shots! Despite his fall from grace, Woods remains a sports bettor’s favourite. Due to a series of back injuries and operations, Woods played his last Masters back in 2015. His return this year has set a new record at Las Vegas Sports books, according to him, gamble-oholics make him Master favourite.
Tiger’s return to a life of celebrity in endorsements and maybe his 5th green jacket is underway; but, not without scandal. In fact, as his gears up to win the Masters, his ex-girlfriend, Kristin Smith is contesting their non-disclosure agreement. Should Smith win, she plans to spill on his alleged cheating.
With the fourth shortest odds to win the 2018 Masters this Sunday, Woods’ story could be the greatest golfing story of all time. Stay tuned to our blog page for more on this story; and remember you can place your real money wagers at online casinos found on CasinosOnline-Canada.
