Pictures and details on Canada’s Olympic House were released, and we just had to share it with you. The house will serve as the gathering place for team Canada fans. An estimated 10 000 visitors are expected to visit Canada’s Olympic House.
True to its Canadian theme is the maple leaf shaped bench. To house that many Canadian fans and athletes, the building needs to be big and boy is it big! The Canadian Olympic house is 12 000 square feet. The designers and architects have brilliantly managed to capture the quintessence of Canada, from the maple leaves to images of mountain ranges, Canadian food and the red Adirondack chairs.
Derek Kent CMO for the Canadian Olympic Committee said “home is where the heart is” and this house will serve as a home for Canadians during the sporting event.

Other Canadian Olympic News

The 2018 Olympics and Politics
The event runs for 17 days and is set to take place in PyeongChang, South Korea. This year the winter Olympic games will serve not just as entertainment and a platform for patriotism; but also as a tension reducer. In fact, analysts are optimistic about the reduced tension it will bring between North and South Korea.
The sport has long been a way to unite people and countries, and the 2018 Winter Olympics has given the two conflicting countries a reason to talk again – amicably.
